The Points To Success Program

points to successThis program is designed for any Dyson major--freshmen through seniors-- to increase awareness of those soft skills in leadership and inclusivity that are so necessary to their success in the workplace.

Students need to achieve 100 points to complete the program by attending at least 10 skill-building seminar/workshops during the course of their education.

Each 1-hour workshop worth 10 points is targeted to specific skill-building topics dealing with emotional intelligence or inclusion.

Workshops are followed by a journal assignment to give them an opportunity to reflect on the awareness gained.

Topics are focused on creating awareness and building a stronger skill set in emotional intelligence, ethical behavior and decision making, communications, inclusion, social responsibility and environmental sustainability. Additionally, seminars help students in preparing for interviews, internships and their first job.
